What is Everyday “Crazy”?


Remember the novel, What Looks Like Crazy on an Ordinary Day, by Pearl Cleage? Well, everyday “crazy” are those things that happen on ordinary days. It is the crazy that is ordinary and expected by professionals like me. The problem is many people either overthink their responses to some of life’s tests or avoid thinking about them at all. Sometimes we listen to the people around us, who tell us our responses are either okay or wrong. This blog seeks to bring comfort and a perspective on everyday “crazy” that will lead you to feel better and maybe even seek counseling to affirm your healthy responses. The hope is that you might just learn that your responses are ordinary on those crazy days.
