Postpartum Depression is Real

Per this study, postpartum depression symptoms can last for three years after giving birth. Do not ignore your symptoms. You are not “crazy.”

Reach out for support. Do not ignore the symptoms in a loved one. Help is available. There are many resources available including your physician, midwife, doula or nurse practitioner. Search the internet for your state or local postpartum depression hotline or resource.
